The universe in which we live is a testimony to the existence of God. The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters. Psalm 24:1-2 NKJV God is the Creator and Author of life. With His Word He spoke us into existence. Look around and you will see the intricacies of His creation. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Psalm 19:1 NKJV No wise man or woman can walk this earth and deny His existence. He is all around us. In the life, and rapidly beating heart of a humming bird. In the spiraling dance of a galaxy. In the birth of a child and his journey through life. Those who deny God are denying their very being. Their For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes… For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16 NKJV
God has revealed to every wise man who looks up at the heavens that His attributes are clearly seen. All people understand by the things He has created His eternal power, and Godhead. They are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man Romans 1:20-23 NKJV Because of this God has given them over to uncleanness. By the lusts of their own hearts, they dishonor their bodies among themselves. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped things made by man instead of worshiping the Creator. For this reason God gave them over to the vile passions of fornication, adultery and homosexuality. All those who participate in these sins will receive the penalty of their error. I beg you, with all sincerity to stop participating in sins against yourselves. Walk, no, run away from all those who engage in such activities.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. Romans 1:28-32 NKJV Their thoughts degrade their character so they are blinded from the truth. They hear, but they do not understand.
They are the apostasy, or those who have fallen away from the truth. Every day we edge closer to the millennium. More and more will be blinded by the power of lust. Without the return of Christ all will fall to the sharpened edge of Satan’s sword. If you are engaging in these activities I urge you to change direction and turn toward the truth. The Creator of all things is here waiting for you to ask Him for help. He can do nothing without your consent. His hand is outstretched, waiting for you to call His name. He is leaning toward you as far as He possibly can. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Listen for the whisper in your ear as He bids you, “Come.” The wisest move one can make is to hear the Word of God and accept the salvation provided to all who will believe. Because believing is receiving. “Come,” and accept the love which God offers through His Son. I don’t care what you have done in the past. It doesn’t matter, because faith in Christ can heal every life issue you have. “Come.” He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:12 NKJV
This is beautiful. Part of it is sheer poetry. Very impressed with your opening sentence. It grabs the reader, and the simple but lonely admonition, “Come.”
